This book gives an insight into the entertainment offered to the good folk of Carlisle and surrounds in the 50’s and 60’s by ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ which existed in the town then. Also included are local venues, the bands that entertained there, the local cinemas and the Lonsdale, where many famous acts of the era would perform. And not forgetting the Argyll, which then became the famous Cosmo!
